CONSULTANCY UNIT

The Consultancy Unit of Mohamet Lawan College of Agriculture came into being sixteen (16) years ago. The center was established as an incorporated body of the college under the Companies and Allied Matters Act of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Thus, it is the Mohamet Lawan College of Agriculture’s registered income generating window to assist the College in the running of her activities.
The objectives are to:

provide access to education to those who have missed the opportunity at the early stage of their lives

Create opportunities for those people who have no enough time to further their educations especially those working with local government, state, private and non-governmental organizations to be enrolled on part-time basis. This will widen opportunities to adult and less privilege to combine learning and working;;

provide technical, professional and other experts service to Governmental and non-governmental organisations, such services could take the form of agri-entrepreneurial skill training, feasibility reports, a wide range of specialized professional services such as socio-economic surveys, running of staff development programme, refresher courses, workshops etc;

provide College staff, who are able and willing to provide consultancy services as legitimate avenue for making additional income in conformity with the State Civil service Law.
